기존 아산만 방조제 배수갑문을 확장함으로서 아산(평택)호 유역 농경지 및 주택의 침수예방과 기타 홍수피해 경감대책 일환을 목적으로 하며, 새로운 서해안 시대의 랜드마크로서 관광 활성화를 통한 지역발전 촉진을 도모

Through enlargement of the embankment, this project’s purpose lies in preventing all kinds of flood damage. In addition, the project focused on setting up the embankment as an identical landmark along with the West Sea coast in order to vitalize tourism and result in local economic growth.
