Oman, known as the birthplace of Sinbad, is a coastal country located on the southeastern tip of the Arabian Peninsula, which has pursued a way of life based on a balance between nature and the sea. In particular, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said, who leads Oman, has taken the initiative in establishing world-class environmental protection and sustainable development, paying special attention to the country's environmental heritage. Additionally, Marsira Island, where the bridge is located, is a natural resort that is home to many marine creatures, including sea turtles, and new marine sports such as kite surfing are rapidly developing there. The nature and symbolic elements of Marsira Island are abstractly reflected in the design of the bridge, which serves as a landmark for the touristic Marsira Island.
