서울의 역사성 회복을 위한 프로젝트로서 경복궁의 복원과 더불어, 일제에 의해 의도적으로 왜곡되어 온 서울 대표 공간의 정체성 회복을 위한 계획. 육조거리와 광화문 그리고 배후의 북악산이 만드는 조선시대를 대표하는 경관 회복 및 그리고 현대의 도시까지 조화롭게 이어지는 대한민국의 대표광장 설계.

With the recovery of Gyeongbokgung, it is a project to recover the historicity of Seoul considering connecting with the modern city harmoniously. It means recovering the identity of Seoul as the capital of the Joseon Dynasty which has been intentionally distorted by Japanese imperialism.
