세종시 구조물 미관기준에서 제시하는 금강의 대표강조교량으로서 설계지침에 명시된 곡선형 사장교 조건과 높이 제한을 기준으로 디자인하였으며, 세종시의 도시설계 특징인 순환형도시구조(Ring-city) 개념을 조형적으로  반영하였음. 주탑의 측면과 정면의 형태 외곽선에  원의 일부인 호(Arc)를 적용하여 디자인

Designed the tower according to the conditions specified in the design guidelines of Sejong City which asked to design a curved form for the tower within a restricted height given. 'Arc', a part of the circle which means the 'Ring City', characteristics of the urban structure of Sejong City is applied to draw the front & side shape of the curved tower.
