The Wall은 화장율의 증가 및 핵가족화에 따라, 기존 천편일률적인 봉안담의 형태에서 벗어나 개별적이고 다양하면서도 품격있는 봉안시설의 공급을 요구하는 소비자의 요구에 부응하기 위한 옥외 납골봉안시설이다. 수익성에 치중하여 추모객의 눈길과 손길마저 닿지 않는 위치에까지 설치하는 기존의 봉안담의 문제점을 고려하여 단위면적당 안치밀도를 낮추고 적정 높이에 안치단을 설치하여 성묘환경을 최적화 하였다. 설치 부지는 유휴 공간을 효율적으로 활용하였고,각 부지의 평면형태가 별자리의 모양과 비슷한 것에 착안하여 구역별로 ' Polaris (북극성), Pegasus(페가수스),  Cygnus(백조좌)' 로  '별그리다'와 조화롭게 네이밍을 하였다.

The Wall is an outdoor burial facility designed to meet the needs of individuals seeking personalized, diverse, and elegant options, in response to rising cremation rates and the shift toward nuclear families. Unlike traditional burial walls, often placed in inaccessible locations with a focus solely on profitability, this design lowers burial density per unit area and ensures the burial stages are at an appropriate, reachable height for mourners. To maximize efficiency, idle spaces within the park cemetery were utilized as installation sites. Inspired by the similarity between the layout of the three sites and constellations, the locations were named 'Polaris,' 'Pegasus,' and 'Cygnus,' evoking the theme of 'Missing a star' and creating a sense of harmony.
